Life Legacy

Pamela DeAnn Torrez passed away on November 12, 2012 in a Dallas area hospital.

Pam was born on May 20, 1966 in Dallas, Texas. She attended Bryan Adams High School where she played on the girl's volleyball team. It was during a game there that Jesse R. Torrez, Jr. spotted her on the court as he sat in the bleachers. He was the love of her life. They were married on January 23, 1982. Every day was an adventure in their life together. They had three children and the passion and love she held for her new little family swelled her heart. Pam's gift of nurturing also extended to her many nieces and nephews whom she treated with love and total acceptance.

She supported her children's educational process and team sports as a homeroom mother, soccer coach, P.T.A President, school carnival volunteer and ardent fundraiser. Wherever Jesse was cooking, Pam was right there supporting the endeavor as well.

Pam loved working as a registrar and data clerk at Dan D. Rogers Elementary, Hillcrest High School and E. Conrad High School in the Dallas Independent School District. Her warm, vivacious personality mulitplied friendships among the staff, parents and student body.

Pam is survived by her husband, Jesse R. Torrez, Jr. and their three children and two grandchildren; Matthew Christopher and son Jaidyn, Marcus Andrew, Jessica DeAnn and son Isaiah. She also leaves her parents, Lisa and Pat Rollice of Tallequah, Oklahoma; her siblings. Ceaser Rollice and wife Sue, Dominic Rollice and wife Joy, Carmen Welch and husband Mike and Ramon Rollice and wife Marsha, all from Tallequah, Oklahoma.
